Vintage Chinese "Four Beauties" Wang Zhaojun Glass Dome Figurine

I am selling a Vintage Chinese "Four Beauties" Wang Zhaojun Glass Dome Figurine in excellent condition. A beautiful, vintage miniature figurine featuring Wang Zhaojun, one of the legendary Four Beauties of Ancient China. This delicate piece is intricately hand-detailed and preserved under a glass cloche on a black lacquered wood base. Character: Wang Zhaojun (Lady Zhaojun). She is famously depicted in her red "travelling" cloak with white fur trim, carrying her pipa. According to legend, she was sent to the northern frontier to marry the Chanyu of the Xiongnu to maintain peace. Her beauty was so great that birds would forget to flap their wings and fall from the sky when they saw her. Dimensions: Approximately 3-1/4" tall by 2" in diameter. Details: The figurine features fine detailing on the lute and the floral accents on the cloak. The piece comes with its original patterned storage box, which features traditional Chinese motifs (vases and plates). Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The glass dome is clear and free of cracks. The figurine is securely mounted to the base. The original box shows some light age-related wear but is structurally sound.
