Needham (born 1938) is a retired Canadian policeman originally from Portland, Ontario, who spent decades traveling across Canada in an RV.The Material: He hand-selects unique chunks of Canadian driftwood, burls, and fallen branches, working with the natural grain and shapes of woods like sumac, butternut, and spalted mountain ash.Signatures: Each decoy is entirely unique, usually signed by Needham on the flat base with handwritten details specifying the bird type, wood species, and geographic location where the wood was gathered.
