Vintage Pierced Brass Lidded Pot for Incense & Candles

Pierced brass potpourri pot (also frequently called a reticulated censer, incense burner, or dhoop dani) that was commonly hand-cast and machined in India. The cut-out geometric patterned lattice work (reticulation) is designed to allow fragrance or heat to escape safely. It can be used to hold scented dried flower potpourri, burn incense cones or charcoal resin, or house a votive tea-light candle. Solid brass with a natural aged patina on interior and exterior (see photos). "Made in India" sticker on the base. Dimensions: Approximately 13cm in diameter X 15cm in max height X 9cm in base diameter. Beautifully patinaed with no obvious dents, cracks or repairs. Contact me for payment and pick-up details.
