A 65mm heavy bronze medal by Dora De Pedery-Hunt, issued to commemorat the 1976 25th anniversary of the Toronto-based Hungarian Helicon Society. Founded by Hungarians who immigrated to Canada after WWII, the society was founded to preserve and promote Hungarian heritage, as well as to introduce Canadians to Hungarian culture and history. Rev. winged horse rearing left, Obv: crest of the Helicon Society at center, "KANATA" above, around upper rim, "1951 / 1976" to left and right, "TORONTO" below.
