Antique solid wood sideboard or shelving unit, could be used as a bookshelf. Top sideboard shelf has scrollwork-style decorative edges. Two additional shelves with front decorative lip. Base has dental shelf for added stability and strength. Unit is hand made of hard wood, possibly cherry. Recently painted, underside of shelves and back show original staining. Heavy and extremely well built. Each shelf reinforced with painted metal bracket and screws. No damage or warping, shelves perfectly straight. Unit sits flat on floor no wobbling.
