Carte Politique et Itinéraire de l'Europe et de l'Empire Français en 1807". It documents the geopolitical peak of the First French Empire under Napoleon Bonaparte following his victory at the Battle of Friedland and the signing of the Treaties of Tilsit in 1807. This specific colored variation was illustrated and decorated by French artist Daniel Derveaux for Éditions d'Art Derveaux. He adapted an original 19th-century map background by cartographer Eustache-Hyacinthe Langlois, embellishing it with a ten-color palette and a detailed military vignette in the upper left corner.
