Vintage Victorian Colonial Courting Couple Table Lamp

This is a vintage porcelain figural table lamp, often referred to as a "courting couple" or "Victorian colonial" style lamp. Height 13" with shade, 7" for figurines. Base is 3 1/2". The base features hand-painted porcelain figures of a man and a woman in 18th-century attire. These lamps were commonly manufactured in Japan during the "Occupied Japan" period (1945-1951). They are considered collectible items. The lamp has a simple white or off-white fabric lampshade. Mint condition - no chips or cracks. Smoke-free, pet-free home. Cash only.
