Antique Northwood Marigold Carnival Glass "Raspberry" Ruffled Compote Dish – Signed Circle N, 6.5" x 4"
Up for auction is a stunning, authentic piece of American social history: an antique Marigold Carnival Glass Pedestal Compote/Candy Dish produced by the renowned Northwood Glass Company.
Dating back to the Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) era (circa 1910–1912), this exquisite piece features Northwood’s highly collectible "Raspberry" pattern. The interior bowl is beautifully embossed with a detailed, circular wreath of textured raspberry clusters, winding vines, and sharply veined serrated leaves.
The glass features a brilliant, fiery marigold iridescence that catches the light beautifully, casting vibrant gold, pink, and subtle green highlights across the deeply ruffled, fluted rim. The bowl sits atop an elegant clear-to-lightly iridized stem and a wide pedestal base.
