Set of 2 African Banana Leaf Wall Art

Vintage East African Banana Fiber Collage Art Set - Framed Handcrafted Diptych Village Scene (2 Pieces) Up for auction is a beautiful, vintage matching pair of traditional East African mixed-media collage art pieces. Masterfully handcrafted using naturally pigmented, varying shades of dried banana leaves and plant husks, these panels form a textured visual story without the use of paint. The scenes depict a classic African homestead village, showcasing finely detailed thatched-roof huts, towering native acacia/baobab trees, and figures dressed in vibrant traditional red attire. The set includes one horizontal panel and one vertical panel, making them a perfectly balanced diptych set for a gallery wall, hallway, or mid-century eclectic decor display. Item Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The fiber collage elements are intact, secure, and retain great natural color variance.
