Amazing! Lot 1 - 3 Medieval Russian silver kopeks Wire Coins
$32
Moscow mint, unattributed. Unusual variation of this common medieval coin design. #2012-798 in WB. Russian wire money was hand-struck 1475-1729. These were cut from wires or cable and usually have on the obverse a horseman - Moscow’s patron Saint George – on the left, spearing a dragon, bottom right. The reverse is Cyrillic script and attribution to the king. To see all my coins and banknotes, search zzz, or Russian coins for just those. To peruse my coins and banknotes and skip other listings, search 'zzz'. I will ship for $1. Slava Ukraini!
