You are viewing a rare vintage Mikasa dinnerware service for 9. The Mikasa Marquee gold and black stripe. That's 9 serving plates, 9 sides plates, 9 soup bowls, 9 cups and saucers as well as the service set that includes, 1 serving bowl and platter, as well as 1 sugar decanter and 1 creamer dispenser. This is a very hard to find item in single unit pieces let alone a complete 9 service set with extras. This is sold as a complete set no parting out. The price dictates the rarity and the new condition, never used. I am including the service set as a bonus. (Value $150 US). The internet has a few pieces being sold individually because that is all they have. Take this opportunity to have an amazing set of dinnerware. This complete set was purchased new from Japan in the mid 80's and stored away and never used. It was meant to be a wedding gift but along the way life happened and I held on to it since then. This set was unwrapped for the first time just to take the photos. I am now retired and purging everything I own because I and my wife are moving to Mexico to sit in the sun and play in the surf. I will not be letting it go cheap just because of my new adventure. I have held onto this set for 40+ years and if it doesn't sell I will just send it to my son and his wife in Japan.
