Very healthy, leaves are dark green with no curling or yellowing. Have been hardened off for 3 weeks outside during day and brought in at night. Lower leaves have been removed for deep planting and budding. Last day of selling them, otherwise I’m keeping them myself to plant.
If ad is up, they are available. Please don’t ask if they are available; they are. Communicate with pick up time or specific questions. Thanks.😊
Do you LOVE cherry tomatoes? What about trying these NON GMO heirloom chocolate cherry tomatoes with their luscious purple/deep red skins?
Sweet and delicious with a 70 day maturity. Planted on Mar. 21st under full spectrum lights, heat mats and now 6000 lumen lights.
Since they are an heirloom variety, collect some of the seeds to grow your own next year which will stay true to the mother plant.
Grown in Promix Mycorrhizae soil with added worm castings and organic homemade compost for natural fertilizer. Have been using worm casting and compost tea to water.
Limited number available
Two Planting Merhod:
1. Deep Vertical Hole
Water a hole, throw in some bone meal, compost, rabbit droppings, worm castings, or hen manure pellets then plant deeply. Water well to get it settled. Attach to stake or vertical string.
2. Shallow Horizontal Trench
Dig a long narrow trench. Lay tomato on its side for a few hours so the tip will start reaching up vertically. Water the trench and add either compost or hen manure, worm castings, rabbit droppings, or compost and swish around with the soil. Remove pot and lay the tomato in the trench. Cover with soil and water along the entire trench. Tomato will sprout new roots all along the stem that is buried. Attach to stake or vertical string.
