Chestnuts Roasting Watercolor Painting

If you are at least 50 years old you probably have childhood memories of seeing street carts with hot chestnuts being turned over coals. For me it was outside Honest Eds and in the Kensington Market. If it brings back memories as the chestnut roasting season begins, then this is the painting for you. It's an original with an image size of approx 4 1/2" x 7" framed in a modern gilded frame with double matting to 12" x 14". Although I can't find a signature, it is beautifully detailed depicting a child in patched up pants and balaclava with his two-tier chestnut tray. You can take the ones off the top tier because those ones are ready! Just one of many original works of art I'm selling from my collection.
