Up for sale is a super fun, rare vintage 1980s Cecil Light hat-style table lamp. I am the original owner of this iconic piece of retro novelty lighting, having bought it myself back in the 80s! It features a vibrant red plastic wide-brimmed sun hat resting over an opal white globe light, sitting on a classic stepped black base with multi-setting selector buttons. It perfectly captures the 1980s space-age, pop-art, and Memphis Milano design aesthetic. Functionality: 100% working order. The light turns on perfectly and glows beautifully, casting a soft, nostalgic retro light. Cosmetics: The plastic hat and globe are in great shape with excellent color vibrancy. Please note that the decorative bow on the hat is missing. Flaw Note: One of the base pegs underneath is broken. However, it still stands completely flat, sturdy, and well-balanced on the remaining structure. The flaw is completely hidden underneath when the lamp is set up and does not affect its stability or display value at all.
