1867-1967 Canada Centennial Stamp Set Canadian Wildlife

A wonderful piece of Canadian philatelic history, this "Canadian Wild Life Series" set was issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Canadian Confederation (1867–1967). The stamps are beautifully presented on the original red commemorative card. Included Stamps: 2¢ Polar Bear (Blue) 3¢ Moose (Brown/Grey) 5¢ Centennial Canadian Flag (Red/White/Blue) 4¢ Bighorn Sheep (Grey/Blue) 5¢ Common Loon (Grey/Black) The stamps are mounted on the original red cardstock. The stamps themselves show vibrant colors and sharp perforations. The red display card shows some signs of age. Note the adhesive/tape residue on the right side near the 5¢ Loon stamp, as seen in the high-resolution photos. The card acts as a sturdy backing, making this a great candidate for framing or a dedicated Canada Centennial collection.
