Peacekeeping Monument (The Reconciliation) in Ottawa. Released to mark the 50th anniversary of the United Nations and to honor Canadian peacekeepers. In remarkable condition for a 30+ year coin that’s been in circulation. It’s brighter and shinier than my awful iPhone X camera depicts! Parliament/Confederation 125th Anniversary. Designed by Canadian artist Rita Swanson (whose initials "RS" appear on the coin). The Peace Tower clock on the coin is distinctively set at 1:25, symbolizing 125 years of Canadian Confederation.
