new ASCOR 200W 400V Studio Flashtube Flash Tube / Strobe lamp

This is an unused flashtube in its original packaging. Alternate Part Numbers are: 200WS, 400V, Ascor 0406-44, NL, FT/217 200W/S, Speedotron MW-12, MW12, Lumedyne, It was originally purchased in 1973 and appears to have sat on one shelf or another since. It would have been intended for use on Ascor Strobes and speedlights used in studios back in the day. If you can find one, retail value will be $50 to $120 plus tax and shipping.
