This is a set of three colourful toy tropical fish. They are yellow, red, and blue. These little fish come in a clear plastic blister pack. In Chinese culture, fish (鱼, yú) symbolize abundance, wealth, and prosperity because the word sounds identical to the word for "surplus" or "excess" (余, yú). It is a quintessential symbol of good fortune, often used during Chinese New Year to wish for a prosperous year ahead with the phrase "nian nian you yu" (年年有余), meaning "may you have abundance year after year".
