This heavy, solid brass door knocker features an exquisitely detailed Neo-Classical design, highlighted by a beautifully sculpted acanthus leaf motif on the vertical backplate and an elegant, sweeping hinged loop ring.
Unlike many detached antique knockers, this lot is exceptionally rare because it includes its original matching circular bullseye striker plate and full mounting hardware. The reverse side of the knocker features traditional, rustic sand-cast textures showcasing an authentic "1875" stamp mark.
