No need to add an amp as there is one built-in already. It also has a sub out in case you wanted to add one. Comes with a speaker connecting cable 5M and the optical cable. I don't have the remote but I would recommend buying a cheap learning one or a duplicate on the official website. Retails for $329+tax. No scratches and still has a great quality sound. The cables are in perfect shape as well.
