Vintage Wood Nursing Chair / Platform Rocker - New Cane

Beautiful antique wooden nursing/platform rocking chair, likely dating to the early 1900s. Features newly replaced cane seat and back in excellent condition, warm aged wood tones, elegant curved arms, and a smooth compact rocking motion. The previous owner shared that it had been passed down through generations and was originally used as a nursing chair around 1910. While I can’t verify provenance, the style and construction are consistent with that era. This chair has gorgeous character and would work beautifully in vintage / antique interiors, cottagecore or dark academia spaces, reading corners, old-house styling, or nursery or bedroom decor. Approx. 33” high. Structurally solid with fresh professionally replaced cane, smooth rocking motion, and lovely aged patina and wood grain.
