2025 Talaria Sting MX5 Pro

Talaria created the Sting to bring cutting-edge electric performance to all riders. The MX5 is a high-end bike in the light electric motorcycle category. The most powerful Talaria to date, the MX5 features a new 72V/40Ah battery, separating it from the majority of the competition. The MX5 features a lightweight frame, powerful mid-mounted IPM motor, 72V/40Ah battery and 120 km (78 mile) max range. Feel instant torque through the Sting’s intelligent gearbox and extremely quiet drivetrain. Power and battery: The Sting MX5 Pro uses a 72V/40Ah lithium-ion battery with Samsung 50S 21700 cells, delivering 2,880 watt-hours of energy. This results in a 45% power increase over 60V Talaria models, with a peak output of 13.4 kW. Performance modes: It features three riding modes: Eco, Sport, and a high-performance "Hyper" mode unique to the MX5. Top speed: The bike has an unrestricted top speed of about 98 km/h (61 mph). Range: The estimated maximum range is up to 120 km (75 miles) when riding at 25 km/h (15 mph). Gearbox vs. belt: Unlike some competitors that use a belt drive, the MX5 has a durable, quiet gearbox. This eliminates the need to replace snapped belts. Regenerative braking: The bike includes a regenerative braking system with four adjustable levels, which can be controlled via the throttle. Suspension: The MX5 features an adjustable air and spring suspension system that offers better off-road performance than the MX4 model. Brakes: The braking system is significantly upgraded with larger 220mm x 3mm disc brakes, bigger calipers, and a redesigned master cylinder for improved stopping power and heat dissipation. Frame: The chassis is made from 6061 T4 & T6 aluminum alloy, forged under high pressure for increased durability. Display: A color TFT display shows real-time speed, battery level, voltage, and odometer readings. Further highlights include headlight on/off switch, removable battery and battery cover, a compact, well-balanced light-weight chassis and overall very low maintenance. Break in oil change already completed. Brown wire is already unrestricted so it will go 98km/hr on sport mode. Other than that completely stock. Son just doesn't seem to use it much so we will sell and maybe get him a drum set instead.
