These are made from naturally clean strips of wood used locally in the GTA in the Kiln drying process as Lumber separators (not Pressure treated - no chemicals). Each bundle of wood strips takes about 1 hour to dismantle and plane down to revel it's inner beauty, then it is cut down to size. Each strip yields 4-6 pieces of useable wood that I arrange, glue and brad nail them down as with the Rainbow version Some items are stained or left natural, pieces that have 'Character' or markings on them are used on the face to add interest. They look more like fine pieces of furniture with a little rustic feel. Either way they stand out as a standalone piece of Wall Art or a background to hang anything on. Keys, small pictures, Guitars are but a few uses. As before, for heavier items like Guitars consider a larger one (over 16") and drill holes 16" on centre or in the middle (of the smaller units) and screw directly into your wall studs.
