1950s Nordmende Radio & Record Player Console

Fantastic mid-century Nordmende radio and record player console in a compact wood cabinet. Features a large illuminated radio dial, original knobs and push-button controls, built-in speaker grille and a drop-down front panel concealing the turntable and record storage area. A great decorative piece with loads of period character. Could be repurposed as a statement side table, bar cabinet, record-storage piece or sculptural vintage accent in a living room, office or studio. Condition: Sold as a decorative / restoration piece. The unit plugs in and the radio dial lights up, but the radio and record player are not currently working. Wood cabinet shows age-related surface wear, marks and scratches consistent with its age.
