Offered here is an authentic Lalique "Bison" sculpture in satin-frosted and polished clear crystal. The model was originally designed by René Lalique in 1931 (Marcilhac ref. 1194) and was later produced in crystal by Cristal Lalique. This example carries the engraved script signature "Lalique ® France" on the base.
Dimensions: Approx. 5" L x 4" H
Condition: Excellent, with zero flaws. There are no chips, flea bites, scratches, or cloudiness. Horns, ears, tail, and hooves are all intact. The base has protective felt pads, which can be removed. No original box.
The sculpted mane is deeply textured and contrasts beautifully with the smooth frosted body. This is a classic Lalique animal form that suits collectors of French crystal or Art Deco design.
