Peppler Mahogany End Tables / Nightstands

A beautiful pair of vintage Peppler mahogany end tables, thoughtfully transformed from an original vanity into two incredibly versatile bedside tables. Rather than losing the character of the original piece, the vanity was carefully separated to create a matching pair of tall, narrow nightstands — perfect for bedrooms where floor space is limited but storage is still important. The mahogany tops and drawer fronts were completely stripped and sanded, then refinished with Saman stain in Whole Wheat, bringing out the warmth and beautiful natural grain of the wood. The surrounding frames and beautifully turned legs were painted in Mélange MORPHOSE in Understory, a deep, sophisticated earthy tone that gives the pair a rich modern-organic feel. The original vintage hardware has been retained, including the decorative brass drop pulls and distinctive hardware on the fluted upper drawers — a detail I especially love on these. Each table offers three functional drawers, generous storage for their compact footprint, beautiful turned legs and stretcher detailing.
