The Department 56 Merry Makers piece "Samuel the Sampler and Cider Barrels" (Item #9381-5) is a retired, hand-painted ceramic and porcelain figurine set introduced around 1990. Designed by Kristi Jensen Pierro, it depicts a whimsical monk enjoying monastery life as he tastes cider. In excellent used condition. Like new.
