Atlanta-based boutique A Ma Maniere has teamed up with Jordan Brand to release an upcoming Air Jordan 3 collaboration. A Ma Maniere's Air Jordan 3 "Raised by Women" was inspired by Whitner's mother purchasing the sneaker for him at a young age. "The 3 was the first Jordan that my mother ever bought for me and my brothers", Whitner says. "If we're telling a story that's going to be about women, for me, [that story was] super unique and it stuck into my mind. I got to give my brother the credit. He was like, 'If you're going to do [a 3], Mommy bought us the 3. That was the first shoe she bought us'". Dressed in tumbled white leather, overlaid with soft grey suede at the collar, eyestay, heel and toe. Mismatched Jumpman and A Ma Maniére branding is embroidered on each tongue, featuring a quilted lining that's repeated on the interior collar. A subtle cream hue is applied to the molded heel panel, decorated with an embossed Nike Air logo, and polyurethane midsole.
