Austrian Enamel and Gilt Brass Snuff/Pill Box with Mirror

Circa 1900: Small guilloché enamel decorated boxes of this type were widely produced in the Austro-Hungarian region during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. They were exported in large numbers to Britain and the United States, usually marked simply "Austria” to comply with import regulations. 0.75 x 2.75 x 1.5 inches Condition: Fair, light overall wear to gilding, small abrasions to enamel, and age appropriate oxidation to mirror silvering. Sweet antique condition.
