1980-81 Topps #3 Wayne Gretzky Record Breaker, "Gretzky is youngest to score 50 goals." This card commemorates the 19-year-old Gretzky becoming the youngest player in NHL history to reach 50 goals, scored April 2, 1980 against the Minnesota North Stars in his first NHL season. One of the earliest Gretzky cards and a great piece of Oilers history. This is a scratched copy, with the scratch-off coating removed from the caption box and a small amount of residue along its top edge. The front presents well with bright colours, but there is a small crease running up from the bottom edge into the yellow caption box near the word "goals," a light surface scratch running horizontally across the photo near the glove, and a small print dot near the bottom left corner.
