Tranquil PC T2e Mini ITX case

The Tranquil PC T2e (originally part of the T2.e/MCE2005 media center system) is a fanless, all-aluminum chassis designed for passive cooling and total silence. Originally retailing around £800 to £970, this sleek, aerospace-grade enclosure acts as a giant heatsink, eliminating whiny fans. Design & Build Form Factor: Low-profile, HTPC-style case designed specifically for quiet living room environments. Cooling: Employs an expert passive heatsink design. The aluminum ridged exterior dissipates internal heat away from the CPU. Aesthetics: The extruded aluminum case features a hi-fi-esque style. Available in black or red, it blends seamlessly into a standard AV rack or TV stand. Silence: With zero moving parts (no cooling fans), it offers 100% silent operation. Thermal Efficiency: The case-as-a-heatsink design performs surprisingly well, frequently testing 5 to 15 degrees cooler than reference cases using active fans. Hardware: Configurations for the T2e featured energy-efficient CPUs (such as the VIA EPIA processors) to keep power consumption and heat output low enough for passive cooling to succeed. 375mm (wide) x 345mm (deep) x 66mm (high), with a softly illuminated glass like front panel. 2 - 1/2 height HD bays. 1 - slim CD bay. Rack mount "ears" included. POWER SUPPLY AVAIL SEPARATELY
