The underside shows some minor vintage surface wear/scuffs consistent with age and features two small protective foam padding dots. Please note the pen holder attachment itself is missing—sold as-is. I am selling a Vintage Polished Agate Slice Desk Display / Paperweight Base in excellent condition. Beautiful mid-century vintage desk accessory featuring a thick, substantial slice of natural polished agate with stunning grey, cream, and faint earthy geode banding. It features a polished top surface highlighting the natural rings, contrasted against a rugged, textured natural outer rim. This piece originally functioned as a luxury desk fountain pen stand. The brass swivel mounting screw remains securely attached to the top, though the actual pen holder trumpet that screws onto it is missing. It makes a magnificent standalone mineral display piece, paperweight, vanity tray for rings, or a restoration piece if you have a compatible screw-on pen funnel.
