Yuba Mundo Longtail Cargo Bike + Loaded Accessory Package

Yuba Mundo longtail cargo bike — the original "minivan of bikes." It hauls groceries, kids, lumber, whatever you throw at it (rated well over 400 lbs). Steel frame, 26" wheels, rock-solid and stable under a heavy load. Selling so we can upgrade to an electric one that better suits our needs. I paid just under $1,000 for it and have put money into it since. It's been professionally maintained by Speed River Bicycle the entire time I've owned it. In May 2026 it got a full going-over: new crankset, new chain, new cassette, wheels trued, brakes tuned. It's dialled in and ready to ride. The drivetrain is an upgrade over the stock bike: I had it converted from the factory 1×7 to a 3×7 (front 42/32/22, rear 14–34). Translation — it has genuinely low granny gears, so you can climb just about any hill fully loaded. Slowly, but you'll make it. What's included: - The bike (Yuba Mundo), freshly serviced. Rim brakes on it now but it has tabs on the frame for discs. - Yuba Bread Basket front rack — frame-mounted, doesn't steer with the bars, ~50 lb capacity - (old style) Yuba Monkey Bars on the rear, plus a set of aluminum add-on bars - wheelskirts (special plastic sheets to protect feet from the rear wheel) - Bamboo rear deck - Thule / Yepp Maxi child-seat mounting bracket (mounted on the rear deck) - (not pictured) a used but functional Yepp seat! You’d pay hundreds for one of these new. - Yuba towing-tray boards — tow a second bike behind you and/or just have a nice footrest for longer-legged passengers - Yuba Go-Getter cargo pannier bag (80 L capacity!) - A pair of Schwalbe Marathon Winter Plus studded snow tires (26×1.75) — these alone run a couple hundred new - Two wrenches (including a Wera Joker ratcheting wrench) in the specific sizes needed to get the tires on/off, and a spare tube - Also available, just ask: rearview mirror, bell. Honest condition notes — I'd rather you know up front: - The Go-Getter bag works but is well-used: a couple of fasteners are broken and the inner lining is worn. Still carries everything fine. - The stem bolt (the one clamping the stem to the steerer) is worn. A mechanic can get it out, but it should then be replaced — it's a cheap part. - One towing-tray board is still bolted on with seized screws. Two pro mechanics said the right tools and a bit of patience will get them out — they just couldn't do it quickly. The loose board is included too. Price: $1,200 firm for the whole package. I'd much rather it go as one lot to one person than part it out, so I'm keeping things simple — no haggling, no piecing it apart. At this price the tires, rack, bag, brackets, and tools are basically along for the ride. Pickup near downtown Guelph.
