Murano Venetian Purple & Green Uranium Glass Vase

A wonderful Venetian glass stem vase in the style of a jug, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of purple glass cased in light green glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian Sommerso technique. Measures approx 12 inches tall by 3.25 inches in diameter at widest point and 3" at the base. No chips, cracks or blemishes. Has uranium, glows under black light. The base is slightly off balance - has a very slight side to side rock.
