Overdrive Cicena Classic Portable AM/FM/Radio/Stereo/Cassette Pl

This is a vintage Overdrive Cicena Classic portable boombox from circa 1991, designed to emulate a 1950's American car dashboard. It features an AM/FM stereo radio with a light-up dial that resembles a speedometer, and a cassette player. The design is often compared to '55/'57 Chevy or '58 Corvette car dashes. It's a stylish cream and red unit with a steering wheel-shaped handle. The "dashboard" lights up with orange numbers for FM stations and red for AM. Fully tested: The stereo turns on and picks up stations clearly. The antenna extends and retracts smoothly. The dashboard lights up when the radio is on. The cassette player works, but the tape from an old answering machine unraveled, so it couldn't be fully tested. It played sound until the tape issue occurred. It might need a cleaning or the tape was defective. The cassette eject door opens and closes with a little guidance. Features include auto-stop, pause, eject, tape counter, bass/treble controls, LED power/stereo indicators, and a headphone port. Powered by AC cord or 8 "D" batteries.
