Bill Buckner was an all-time great first baseman for Chicago Cubs, until that faithful day and game six of the World Series 1986, where he let a line drive fly through his legs, causing the loss of the World Series for Chicago Cubs. The next time the Chicago Cubs would see the likes of the World Series most recently Was a greater achievement that should have been for that day. I’m sure BILL Buckner will never live that day down, but stuff happens in baseball. Great button for all collectors or buttons, this one carries a special value, and that it tells a story about how your life can change in one simple second.
