Vintage American Optical Goggles Safety Glasses with Case

Vintage flexible wire glasses The lenses have the letters “GH” inscribed on them The frame has “Welsh” engraved on the inside They come with the case which has a small dent (please see pictures) and is pretty scuffed up. The glasses also need to be straightened out and cleaned but I’m not an expert. I assume they are from the 1940s but they might be older.
