VTG Schumann Bavaria Empress Dresden Flowers Saucers 5.75”-Set o

This is a set of eight (8) flat teacup saucers in the highly coveted Empress Dresden Flowers pattern by Schumann Bavaria (Germany). Each saucer measures approximately 5.75 inches in diameter and features a vibrant, multi-color floral motif with a delicate scalloped edge and brilliant gold trim gilt. This unique collection functions as a fascinating 30-year chronological timeline of post-war German porcelain manufacturing. The set features three distinct backstamp variations, confirming that pieces were carefully added to the collection across several decades: 2 Saucers (1945–1949 Post-WWII Era): Features the historic "Germany US Zone" export stamp. (1 Mint, 1 Chipped). 2 Saucers (1950s Era): Features the horizontal "Dresdner Flowers" stamp paired with the blue E&R Golden Crown importer shield (marked with black code 35). (Both Mint). 4 Saucers (1960s–1970s Era): Features the clean vertical "Dresden Flowers" script layout beneath the orange-and-gold Schumann crown logo, with no importer shield. (All 4 Mint). Condition: 7 Saucers are in excellent, mint vintage condition. There are no cracks, or crazing. The white porcelain remains bright, the floral decals are vibrant, and the gold gilt edges show virtually no wear. 1 Saucer (from the 1940s US Zone era) has a small, shallow chip directly on the top scalloped edge that breaks the gold trim line. It is still perfectly stable and serves as an excellent display piece or backup. (Please see the dedicated close-up photo).
