Antique Japanese Handpainted Plate

This is an antique handpainted Nippon (Japanese) decorative porcelain plate with roses and a green border. The "Nippon" mark on porcelain indicates that the item was made in Japan for export between 1891 and 1921, following the McKinley Tariff Act which required foreign goods to be marked with their country of origin. 6.25 inches in diameter. Some of gold decoration is missing from the handle, but it does not detract from the beauty of this piece. Pick up only in south London. No holds unless paid by etransfer.
