TV / Monitor Repair - No Picture, Lines, Won't Turn On
$30
$30 diagnostic, credited toward the repair. I won't quote a display blind — the fault could be a $4 capacitor or an unobtainable panel, and those are very different conversations. Often fixable: · Powers on, no picture — frequently the power supply board or backlight driver · Clicking on and off, won't stay on — usually failed capacitors · Horizontal or vertical lines on an uncracked screen — often the T-Con board or a ribbon connection, and often cheaper than people assume · Dim picture, visible only with a flashlight — backlight LEDs · Dead HDMI input while others work Usually not worth it: · Cracked or impact-damaged panel — the panel is most of the value of the set · Large TVs where a panel is needed Send a photo of the screen showing the fault and the model number from the back. I'll give you an honest read on whether it's worth the $30 before you spend it.
