Art nouveau French spelter sculpture “Le Mineur.” Mounted on the original wood base with a brass name plate bearing the name. Stamped/marked with the number 7 to the underside of the base. Composed of spelter, a zinc alloy, with a bronzed coloured finish. Areas is silvery-grey along with visible joints/seams which are indicative of spelter. A collectible piece of history. Good condition considering the age. Any wear commensurates with the age. Approximately 5” wide and 11.5” tall.
