Vintage airmail envelope: Detroit to Halifax with stamps and cen

Vintage airmail envelope sent in September 1944 from Detroit, Michigan, to Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. From: Fred B. Prophet Co, Main Office, 3100 West Grand Blvd, Fisher Bldg, Detroit, Michigan. This address is overstamped with Fred B. Prophet Company c/o Chevrolet Motor Co., Atlanta Georgia. To: Mutual Life Assurance Co. of Canada, located at 502-5 Bank of Nova Scotia Bldg, Halifax, N.S., Canada. Features a purple "REGISTERED NO. 64030" stamp and a handwritten number "1183", plus a purple "VIA AIR MAIL" stamp. The envelope includes a United States 15-cent postage stamp - Scott #820 and USA 8-cent airmail stamp- Scott #C26. The reverse contains various circular postmarks, censorship, and registered stamps dated 1944 from Montreal A.M.F. (Air Mail Facility), Halifax, and South Atlanta Station, indicating it passed through wartime postal censorship. The envelope had been folded at one point.
