This charming Victorian / Art Nouveau-era armless rocking chair was traditionally used as a nursing or sewing rocker, designed for comfort and gentle movement. It has been lovingly kept in our family since it was purchased new over a century ago, making it a true heirloom piece.

Potential Provenance:
According to family history and the original label, this chair is believed to have been made by the Mackenzie Brothers factory in Kirkfield, Ontario, operated by Sir William Mackenzie (later known as the “Railway King of Canada”). While not professionally authenticated, this adds a compelling historical connection.

Good antique condition with authentic age-related wear.
