Flying Low and Slow by Norm Johnson. Published in 1994 by Olstead Publishing Co. out of Qualicum Beach, B.C. This is a rare, privately printed local history and biographical memoir. The book features 21 narratives detailing the author's early life growing up in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, his service in the R.C.A.F. during World War II, and his 18-year career as a social worker for the Department of Public Welfare in Vancouver, British Columbia. The softcover book contains 112 pages and is in good, readable condition. There is some minor, standard shelf wear and age-related toning to the cover, but the binding is solid and the interior pages are crisp and clean.
