Set of 4 New Yorker Santa Mugs

Celebrate the festive season with a sophisticated dose of literary wit. This complete, four-piece collectible set of oversized ceramic coffee mugs features iconic, holiday-themed Santa Claus cartoons directly from the archives of The New Yorker Magazine. Originally produced as an exclusive limited-edition holiday series for Restoration Hardware in the late 1990s and early 2000s, this set brings a sharp, intellectual sense of humor to morning coffee or evening hosting. Each cup showcases a different masterpiece of dry visual comedy by legendary cartoonists Victoria Roberts, Mick Stevens, David Sipress, and Danny Shanahan, complete with their famous single-line captions wrapping the lower rims. The craftsmanship of these mugs is heavy and substantial, boasting a generous, comfortable handle grip and a beautifully flared rim. Each cartoon is rendered in sharp, high-contrast monochrome ink illustration, beautifully framed by a classic, retro-inspired red and black accent track running along the base. The glossy porcelain finish looks completely immaculate, making this full set a brilliant conversation starter for holiday gatherings. This set blends perfectly with the sunny, nostalgic energy of my other profile listings, so please feel free to browse to explore more unique collectibles.
