Vintage Canadian Art Pottery Oval Pillow Vase Fat Lava

This striking mid-century modern art pottery vase features a unique, low-profile oval "pillow" shape. The high-gloss glaze showcases a beautiful variegated "fat lava" style drip effect, cascading from deep espresso chocolate brown into frothy, cratered bands of turquoise blue, seafoam green, and a textured white volcanic finish. It looks excellent styled as a bud vase on a retro teak bookshelf or used as a compact centerpiece on a dining room table setup. Dating to the 1960s or 1970s, this pocket-style vase represents classic retro Canadiana design trends. It measures 5 inches wide by 4 inches tall with a slim, space-saving oval profile that makes it exceptionally easy to style on shallow mantlepieces or window sills. Condition Details: Ceramic & Structure: Flawless structural condition with absolutely no chips, cracks, repairs, or fleabites along the top rim or the base ring.
